Ever wondered about a beach where the waves can get surprisingly big? That’s Dråby Strand. Dråby Strand is more than just a pretty place. It’s a dynamic coastal spot ready for you to explore.

Dråby Strand borders a wide meadow. This meadow is covered in grass and flowers. The beach itself boasts fine white sand. The water is clear and inviting. Be warned though the water gets deep rather quickly. It is still a good family beach.

The beach faces east. This provides shelter from the prevailing westerly winds. But beware of offshore winds. Since Dråby Strand faces the Kattegat waves can be quite large. This is especially true when the wind blows from the east or south.

Dråby Strand proudly displays the Blue Flag in 2024. This means it meets high environmental and quality standards.

Near Dråby Camping you can launch a boat. The camping area also offers a kiosk and toilets. A hiking trail begins there too.

A gravel road runs along the entire beach. There is ample parking space available.

Dråby Strand Camping Ebeltoft is nearby. It welcomes guests from April 12 to September 14. The campsite has its own beach on the Kattegat. Many of the 180 pitches boast stunning sea views. Some are just a stone’s throw from the seashore.

The campsite is known for its superb location and good service. The pitches are well-maintained. The service buildings are clean. Modern facilities include family bathrooms and a nursing room. Accessible toilets are also available. You can also find a kiosk a TV room and bouncy castles. A football pitch and putting golf are on site.

The campsite mainly attracts adults and families with young children. They appreciate the tidy and beautiful surroundings. The unspoiled nature around the campsite is ideal for hiking and biking. The sea invites swimming fishing diving and surfing. Internet access is available via a wireless network. Comfortable cottages are available for rent. Groups are welcome. Discounts may be available for groups of 15 or more pitches.

You will find a playing field and petanque area here. Biking routes invite to explore the area. Angling is also possible. There is even a fish cleaning area and freezer. A playground ensures fun for the little ones.

So come to Dråby Strand. Experience its natural beauty. Enjoy its many activities. But keep an eye on the waves. They might just surprise you.
