Perhaps a seed of faith planted in 1990 grew into the thriving DFW Church of Christ Jesus we see today. It all began with a team of fewer than 20 disciples. They were sent from the Boston Church and led by Nick and Debbie Young. This small group joined about 150 people. These people were eager to be part of a fully committed church.

The DFW Church of Christ Jesus experienced rapid growth in its first year. Miraculously, the church expanded so quickly that it split into four groups. One group stayed in Dallas. Other teams ventured out to plant churches in San Antonio, Houston, and New Orleans. These were only the beginning. The DFW Church went on to plant more than a dozen churches.

Let’s pause and appreciate the sacrifices made by disciples over the years. They dedicated their time, resources, and security to advance the Kingdom. Their devotion made the growth of DFW Church of Christ Jesus possible.

In 2015, the DFW Church celebrated its 25th anniversary. The service was held at the Irving Convention Center. Gordon Ferguson served as the keynote speaker. The celebration included a potluck and fellowship.

Today, the DFW Church of Christ Jesus has about 1,100 members. Average Sunday attendance is around 1,700. This includes vibrant ministries. There is a marrieds ministry, a college students ministry with over 100 students, and a growing singles ministry. A fruitful youth and family ministry unites families. Teenagers are choosing to live for Christ.

The DFW Church is a diverse, non-denominational community. They offer small groups and Sunday services across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Whether you prefer to meet in person or watch online, the DFW Church has locations for you.

The DFW Church aims to reach the lost and help the poor. They also want to send out disciples to encourage other churches. The church strives to be generous in every way. They hope that God will bring about even greater things in the future through their efforts.

The DFW Church of Christ Jesus stands as a testament to faith. Its history is rooted in dedication and service. Its future is bright with hope and potential.
