Dell Diamond opened in 2000. Nolan Ryan and his son Reid Ryan wanted a stadium in Austin. They found a better site in Round Rock. The city of Round Rock contributed $7.35 million to the $25 million facility. Dell Computer Corporation paid $2.5 million for naming rights over 15 years.

Dell Diamond can hold 11,631 fans. The record attendance was 13,475. It happened on June 16, 2006. The field has unique dimensions. Left field is 335 feet. Center field is 400 feet. Right field is 325 feet.

The stadium hosted early-season University of Texas games in 2007. This happened during renovations at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. Baylor played Texas State here on February 21, 2012. Dell Diamond also hosts the University Interscholastic League state baseball tournament. Rugby has been played here too. Canada played USA Rugby on February 13, 2016.

Manny Parra pitched a perfect game here on June 25, 2007. He was pitching for the Nashville Sounds against the Round Rock Express. Dell Diamond hosted the Double-A All-Star Game on July 11, 2001.
