Gazing up at the DDT Sky Tower, have you ever wondered about its story? This unfinished giant stands tall in Quezon City, Metro Manila. The DDT Sky Tower is a project of DataLand Inc. It’s their first venture under DataLand Offices. This 60-story structure was meant to redefine office spaces in the Philippines. Initially planned to reach a height of 300.1 meters with 65 floors, the DDT Sky Tower has faced significant delays. Construction began in 2019, with completion dates initially projected for 2021 and 2023. However, by 2022, progress had stalled, leaving the building at just the second or third floor for months. It was intended to boast the largest leasable office space in the Philippines at 115,000 square meters. This space would be divided into three zones: low, mid, and high. Amenities were planned to include over 1,400 parking slots, retail spaces on the first two floors, and a food court on the 14th. DataLand aimed for LEED certification and PEZA accreditation, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and economic development. Despite the setbacks, the DDT Sky Tower remains a prominent feature of the Quezon City skyline, a testament to ambition and a symbol of ongoing development.
