It wasn’t until 1681 that it was rebuilt, showcasing the resilience of the community. Then, in 1754, they expanded it again, proving that this church was a central part of their lives. Fast forward to the 20th century, and you’ll find even more changes. In 1913, the charming Chapel of the Immaculate was added, followed a few years later by the Chapel of Our Lady of Carmel. The church underwent further renovations from 1970 to 1982, and the most recent restoration was completed in 2005. Talk about a glow-up! But even with all of these additions and renovations, the community still finds itself yearning for a larger space. It seems that the crkva svete Marije Magdalene, much like the faith it represents, continues to grow and evolve with each passing generation.
