In 2024, Cristo es el Cambio hosted a historic event. The Consejo de Pastores de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires saw a transition of leadership. The church buzzed with leaders from various communities. Representatives from Consejos Pastorales and ACIERA were present. Pastor Christian Hooft, ACIERA’s president, attended with several board members.
The outgoing leaders received a heartfelt tribute. Pastor Omar Cabrera Juniors offered a prayer. He spoke of an “antorcha encendida” or burning torch. He blessed and challenged the new leaders to pursue unity. He urged them to listen to God’s will for the city.
