Established in 1938 Court Farm Evangelical Church stands proudly. It’s a testament to faith and community. A small group of visionary individuals transformed a grassy patch into a thriving church. They built a place of worship at the heart of a burgeoning community. The church continues to serve its purpose. It’s a place where people seek to know Jesus Christ. They aim to make Him known through service.
The early days were hot. One founder used a hand-bell. He gathered children for Sunday school. He was like the Pied Piper. They met on the grassy area near the building site. The ‘Mission’ as it was affectionately known grew steadily. The formation of the NHS in 1948 brought expansion. More land was acquired. A new Medical Suite was built. This functions today as a separate Christian Doctor’s surgery. It’s known as ‘The Links Medical Practice’.
