Founded on October 26 1974 Club Social y Deportivo Central Ballester has a rich history. It emerged from the ashes of Club Atlético Central Argentino. That club had been desafiliated from AFA. A group of dedicated fans refused to let their football community disappear. They founded Central Ballester.

Their only professional title to date is the 1995-96 Primera D championship. This victory secured their place in the annals of Argentine football history. This hard-fought victory is a testament to Central Ballester’s spirit.

Their stadium originally located in Villa Ballester later moved. It found a home in José León Suárez. A new stadium was built on land granted by the General San Martín municipality. This modern stadium opened its doors on May 14 2022. The first official match was a victory against Sportivo Barracas.
