Founded in 1880 Club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Buenos Aires or GEBA is more than just a sports club. It’s a living testament to Argentina’s rich sporting and social history. Despite the disagreement Aldao’s legacy remains firmly entrenched in the club’s identity. His dedication and leadership left a lasting impression on GEBA. He even donated the Copa Aldao a trophy for a tournament between Argentina and Uruguay.
