The Cliff View Church of Christ stands tall on Simpson Stuart Road in Dallas. Founded by the late Brother Aaron Day Sr. and a group of devoted Christians, it’s a testament to a long-standing love for the faith. In 1982, the congregation began meeting at the Holiday Inn off Interstate 35 in DeSoto. Imagine 60 members gathering for a Sunday service! Brother Day’s leadership and guidance paved the way to the building that stands in front of you. The congregation built their first worship facility two years later, a $342,000 investment. In 1986, they expanded once more, adding classrooms, offices, a kitchen, and a daycare facility. The church continued to flourish, expanding its sanctuary in 1993 and eventually constructing a Family Life Center in 1995. Within the following years, they built a Senior Citizen Village, completed in 2000. Today, Cliff View boasts over 10 active ministries. The legacy of Brother Day lives on in the spirit of community and compassion that is felt within these walls.
