City Heights E-ACT Academy opened on September 1, 2013. It was a new provision for the area. Mr. Marvin Charles is the Headteacher. The academy serves students aged 11 to 18. It is a secondary school. The school type is academy sponsor led. The academy trust is E-ACT.
The academy has a capacity of 1100 pupils. Currently, 549 pupils attend City Heights E-ACT Academy. A significant portion of students are eligible for free school meals. Specifically, 52.3% qualify. This equates to 287 pupils.
City Heights E-ACT Academy is part of the E-ACT family. E-ACT includes 28 academies across England. This network connects over 18000 pupils. It also includes 2300 teachers and non-teaching staff. The trust supports the academy to improve outcomes for children. E-ACT Heartlands Academy in Birmingham was named School of the Year in 2020.
