Initially a simple meadow this land was transformed. This wasn’t just about laying down grass and building facilities. The transformation involved careful planning. It included the creation of walking trails. There are also running and bicycle paths. Five tennis courts and two artificial turfs cater to sports enthusiasts. Two basketball courts an ice track and playgrounds add to the appeal. There are even adventure areas for the thrill-seekers among us. I’ve even heard whispers of plans to plant enough trees to create a forest-like atmosphere. Think Belgrade Forest but closer to the city center.
The park’s inauguration was a momentous occasion. Mayor Aydın thanked Topbaş for his support. He also expressed gratitude to everyone who worked to revitalize this once undeveloped area.
