Currently five new estates are under development. This will bring thousands of new residents. The task of welcoming them is a significant ongoing project. The parish continues to adapt and grow.

A new church building was commissioned in 2009. Meaden Architecture and Interiors designed the new structure. The design reflects the parish’s openness and transparency. The glass and steel facade is striking. Inside massive Pisa walls offer security. The architects carefully considered the orientation. The church’s main axis runs east-west. This aligns with the original resurrection glass window. The new church is much larger than the original. The architects cleverly used adjunct structures and verandahs. These scale down the overall size. They even incorporated the existing church into the design. The old church is now part of the visual experience of the new one.
