In 1974, she journeyed from London to the BCS World Headquarters in Calabar, Nigeria, seeking healing for her daughter’s illness. Leader Olumba Olumba Obu’s pronouncement of healing sparked a mission in Mother Mary. She vowed to bring the message of the Kingdom to Britain. Initially, a small group of Nigerian brethren gathered in South London. They later found a home in Kennington before finally establishing Mill Hill Bethel in a former Methodist church in North London in 1978. This marked a pivotal moment for the Church of Brotherhood and the Cross in its journey to spread its message of faith and love.
