Pastor Perry G. Walker’s vision breathed life back into Christian Life Church. Here at Christian Life Church, we uncover a story of remarkable transformation. Originally known as First Apostolic Church of Lockport, this church has a rich history. It was founded around 1960 and drew members from as far as Plainfield and Chicago. In 2012, the church was renamed Christian Life Church. When Pastor Walker arrived in 2005, he sparked incredible growth. The congregation expanded fifteen-fold under his leadership. He envisioned Christian Life Church not just as a place of worship, but as a “hospital” for the soul. He wanted it to be a haven where people could find healing and build relationships with God and each other. His passion is to connect with people on a personal level, fostering a hunger for God within the community. Pastor Walker’s dedication extends beyond spiritual guidance. He is deeply invested in the well-being of his congregation. He offers counseling, outreach programs, and leadership training. Christian Life Church is committed to building families and healing lives.
