Remember crop plantations and kampong villages? They used to flourish here. Now, welcome to Choa Chu Kang Park. This community park in Choa Chu Kang opened on November 11, 2000. Minister for National Development Mah Bow Tan did the honors.

Choa Chu Kang Park is located beside Kranji Expressway. It extends along Choa Chu Kang Drive. In 1996, plans surfaced. The goal was to build a park near Choa Chu Kang Drive. This was under the Choa Chu Kang Development Guide Plan.

If city life stresses you, this park offers fresh air. It is a place for families and couples to bond. The park covers around 11 hectares. That’s plenty of space for leisure.

Choa Chu Kang Park has several playgrounds. The park added an extension in 2014. There are three playgrounds near the Kranji Expressway. One suits toddlers. The other two are for older kids.

The toddler playground has green and brown structures. Slides will surely delight your little ones. There is also a musical play wall. Rocking seats add to the fun.

Older children will enjoy various play tools. A slide features a palm tree. Bright orange bars challenge kids. They need to cross them to reach other structures.

Adults can enjoy Choa Chu Kang Park too. The famous community garden awaits. A small skate park was established in 2014. Aspiring pro-skaters can hone their skills at the skate plaza.

Feeling hungry? A restaurant sits within the park. Rasa Istimewa C2k Restaurant offers desserts. Enjoy satay, seafood, and halal zochar food. They open at noon every day.

In 2014, a community garden was added to Choa Chu Kang Park. Minister of Health Gan Kim Yong announced the plans. In 2018, the fourth National Parks Board Therapeutic Garden opened here.

Choa Chu Kang Park welcomes your furry friends. Feel free to bring your pets. You can enjoy picnics and jogging. Breathe in the fresh air from the trees.

Getting here is easy. You can take bus lines 974, 927, 925, or 188. The North-South Line is the only metro line that stops nearby.

If you drive, parking is available. Choose from Choa Chu Kang Park. Consider Lot One Shoppers’ Mall Car Park. Other options include Limbang Shopping Centre Carpark and Teck Whye Crescent MSCP.
