“What if your family were receiving a generous monthly stipend?” Imagine that question being posed to you. That is the opportunity the Chicago Chassidishe Kollel offers. It allows men to continue growing in Torah learning. They do not burden their wives with the need for more income.

The Chicago Chassidishe Kollel stands as a beacon of Torah in Chicago. It was founded in 2014 by the Zidichover Rebbe of Chicago. His name is Rav Yehoshua Heschel Eichenstein. Since then, it has flourished. Dozens of Chassidishe families have moved to Chicago to join.

This Kollel is situated in the Beis Medrash of The Chicago Center. This is also known as Khal Chessed L’Avraham. Here, the Kol Torah reverberates from early morning until late at night.

Backed by a robust team of donors, the Chicago Chassidishe Kollel boasts a strong financial base. In all these years, the Kollel has never been late on payments. This ensures financial stability for all Kollel families.

So how does the Chicago Chassidishe Kollel ensure its families are well supported? The Kollel provides generous pay. Families receive close to $50000 a year through stipends and bonuses. There are Yom Tov bonuses and additional rewards for excellence in learning. A monthly stipend of $2200 is provided. There is also a $750 bonus for Tishrei and Pesach.

The Chicago Chassidishe Kollel also provides expansive housing. Kollel families live in spacious three-bedroom apartments. These apartments are befitting Torah families. The Kollel is building several new homes. These homes will be larger than the standard Chicago property. They are for those who wish to buy.

Living in Chicago offers unique advantages. It allows children to grow up healthier. They develop a confident feeling about who they are. This does not impact their Yiddishkeit standards. To the contrary, these children often have a bigger passion for their values.

Another is a respected maggid shiur at the famous Telze Yeshiva. He is extremely well liked. Yet another gives the Chumash B’iyun shiur for 8th grade. He teaches at the Veitzener Cheder. Another recently moved to Peterson Park. He is known to know Hilchos Shabbos, Niddah, Basar Bchalav, and Taaruvos cold.

The Chicago Chassidishe Kollel offers a unique opportunity. It allows Yungeleit to extend their full-time learning years. This extension can be for a good five to six years. This provides great value. It accompanies them even when they move on.

The Chicago Chassidishe Kollel elevates the entire city of Chicago. It does so with the hasmadah, yiras shamayim, and middos tovos of the Kollel Yungeleit. This was said by R’ Avrohom Chaim Levin, z’tl, Rosh Yeshivas Telze Chicago.
