“Imagine a place where modern architecture meets a welcoming atmosphere.” That’s Charlottehaven. Designed by Lundgaard & Tranberg, Charlottehaven offers exclusive hotel apartments in Copenhagen’s Østerbro neighborhood.

Charlottehaven stands as a testament to innovative urban living. It blends residences, hotel apartments, amenities, and a daycare center. This project has enlivened Copenhagen’s Østerbro district socially and commercially.

The Charlottehaven story unfolds in two phases. The first phase saw the creation of 178 rental apartments. The second phase added 44 furnished hotel apartments. A service center, swimming pool, fitness center, and more were included. Charlottehaven embodies shared facilities in everyday life.

Picture an open, six-story building embracing a generous garden. Apartments are bathed in light from both sides. Bay windows and balconies enhance the living experience. Ground floor apartments feature elevated terraces. They offer views of the city and harbor. The service center is in a one-story building in the courtyard. The two taller buildings housing the hotel apartments rise to eight stories.

Charlottehaven’s central location inspired its architecture. Calm, heavy volumes create a backdrop for light and shadow. Textural contrasts and characterful details add depth. The brickwork features mixed dark colorways. It was customized for the project. Architects, developers, and tileworks collaborated on its unique design.

Inside Charlottehaven, comfort and convenience await. Each hotel apartment has a balcony, a large bathroom, and a complete kitchen. Ovens, dishwashers, and tea and coffee facilities are standard. Washing machines and dryers add to the convenience. Suites showcase Danish design from HAY, &tradition, Gubi, and Arne Jacobsen. These suites feature open floor plans and large bay windows.

The on-site café tempts with modern dishes. Enjoy breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Weekends bring a brunch selection. Sip wine or a smoothie on the terrace when the weather is warm.

Guests enjoy free access to the fitness center. A swimming pool and sauna enhance the experience. Various training options are available. HIIT, yoga, and circuit training cater to all fitness levels. Bikes are available for rent. Central Copenhagen is a short 10-minute bike ride away. Nordhavn Station is a 2-minute walk. Copenhagen Airport is only 30 minutes away.

Charlottehaven provides a sustainable stay. It boasts a Green Key certification. This underlines its commitment to environmental responsibility.

Couples particularly appreciate Charlottehaven’s location. They rate it highly for two-person trips. Past guests praise the stylish design and fabulous views. They also value the well-equipped kitchens and convenient location. The gym and garden are often mentioned as highlights.

Leaving Charlottehaven, one remembers its blend of luxury and convenience. It is a place where design meets functionality. It is also a place that creates a memorable Copenhagen experience.
