Tucked away in the heart of Dallas, Chapel Hill Baptist Church has been a beacon of faith for generations. It’s more than just a building. It’s a testament to the enduring power of belief. Chapel Hill Baptist Church isn’t just a place of worship. It’s a living, breathing entity woven into the fabric of the community. The church firmly believes the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error. It is their all-sufficient authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. At Chapel Hill Baptist Church, the cornerstone of their belief is the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. They believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ. They believe Jesus is both true God and true man, who died for our sins and rose again. Now, He sits at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Advocate. Chapel Hill Baptist Church believes that salvation comes through regeneration by the Holy Spirit. It’s a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. They welcome all who are old enough to understand their need for Jesus and accept him willingly. The church practices baptism by immersion. They celebrate the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of Christ’s sacrifice. These are important ordinances, but not the means of salvation. Looking to the future, Chapel Hill Baptist Church believes in the imminent return of Jesus Christ. They see this belief as inspiration for a dynamic and zealous life of service. They also believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead: eternal blessedness for the saved in heaven, and eternal separation from God for the unsaved in hell.
