“The Meeting House in the premises at 114 rue de Vaugirard was sold in 2020.” Right here, before us, once stood a significant hub for the Quaker community. The Centre Quaker International, once located at 114 rue de Vaugirard, served as a beacon of peace and reflection for Parisian Quakers and visitors alike. Established as part of the France Yearly Meeting, this Centre fostered a sense of community. It provided a space for spiritual exploration and Quaker practices. Although the physical building was sold in 2020, the spirit of the Centre Quaker International lives on. Parisian Quakers now gather at the DEFAP Protestant Mission on Boulevard Arago. They continue to hold Meetings for Worship, embracing the Quaker tradition of silent contemplation and shared spiritual reflection.
