What if I told you this unassuming building is a beacon of hope in Quito? This is CEIPAR. It is the Centro de Educación Integral “Paola Di Rosa”. CEIPAR stands as a testament to compassion and community support.

CEIPAR is located in the Ciudadela Yaguachi. This is in the southern part of Quito. This area faces many social challenges. Many children and young people come from homes disrupted by migration and abandonment. Other issues are domestic violence, alcoholism, and drug addiction. These factors often leave them without proper guidance or support.

In 2005, Sister Serafina Ferrari, an Italian missionary, founded CEIPAR. She belonged to the “Servants of Charity” community. CEIPAR was created to address the needs of vulnerable children and young people in Yaguachi and nearby neighborhoods. The goal was to support their educational and personal development.

CEIPAR provides essential services. It offers lunch, academic support, and educational activities. These are aimed at fostering the holistic growth of the children. Every day, around 250 children benefit from CEIPAR. It has become a vital point of reference for the entire community.

CEIPAR also extends its help to the homeless in the neighborhood. From Monday to Thursday, they receive lunch and medical attention. This comprehensive approach showcases CEIPAR’s commitment to serving the most vulnerable. It aims to uplift their lives.

Imagine the laughter and learning that fill these rooms daily. Think of the impact CEIPAR has on shaping young lives and strengthening the community fabric. The dedication of the staff and volunteers is truly inspiring. They work tirelessly to create a nurturing environment. This is where children can thrive and build a brighter future. CEIPAR is not just a center. It embodies the spirit of solidarity. It is a haven of opportunity.
