Now 98.8 Castle FM boasts a loyal following of listeners who tune in each day to enjoy its unique blend of local music, news, and talk shows. On 23 March 2012, the station got a new name, 98.8 Castle FM, and a new motto: “Edinburgh’s bigger local mix”. But some people say that the station’s true purpose is to keep the spirit of Leith alive in the heart of the city.
