In 1949 Everett and Ruth Denison arrived in Manila. Little did they know they were starting a movement. Calvary Foursquare Church in Manila became the center of their work. In 1973 the Church of the Foursquare Gospel in the Philippines registered as a religious corporation. Ernesto B. Lagasca became its Filipino president. This was a key moment.
