Jalan Tengah and Jalan Mayang Pasir are the main roads. Traffic here is often heavy. This is especially true during rush hours. Jalan Tengah has been widened several times. Despite this, it remains congested. Motorists use it to get to Sungai Ara. They also use it for Relau and Paya Terubong.
Public transport connects Bukit Gedung to other areas. Bus numbers 303, 304 and 307 serve the neighborhood.
