Buccleuch Free Church of Scotland has a rich history dating back to 1856. The present building was erected in 1857. JJM Hay and WH Hay of Liverpool designed it in the Gothic style. This was for the Free Buccleuch congregation established during the 1843 Disruption. The church holds firmly to its original Free Church vision. This includes reformed theology and evangelical outreach.

Sarah Lytle serves as the administrator.
Buccleuch Free Church offers various services. Sunday mornings and evenings feature services in person and live-streamed. There’s a Sunday Student Group. A Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer Meeting takes place. Thursday offers Christianity Explored. A Mother & Toddler Group meets on Fridays.
