Ten bronze plaques and ten bronze medallions adorn the concrete bollards along the West Seattle Cultural Trail. The Bronze Plaques and Medallion Sculpture, created in 1997, offer a unique blend of art and nature. The medallions themselves are casts of shells found right here on Alki Beach.
