Did you know that the Bromley Christian Centre has a history stretching back to the year 1928? Standing here today, in front of the Centre on Masons Hill, we’re looking at a place that has witnessed many changes over the decades. The Centre was named ‘Glad Tidings Hall’ in its early days, and a small group of men and women were its founders. The church has moved three times since then and now occupies this large modern building.
The Bromley Christian Centre has been instrumental in the lives of countless people. Today, it’s a vibrant meeting point for over 800 members. It’s known for its diverse community. With over 40 nationalities represented, you’ll often hear different languages echoing through the halls. Their commitment to families is strong, but they are also passionate about community service and international outreach.
In 2018, the Centre celebrated 90 years of making an impact on the community. Over these years, countless individuals, families, and generations have dedicated their time, talent, and resources to the church. Their shared passion? To live by the example set by Jesus, embracing generosity, compassion, kindness, mercy, and loving people.
