Auckland Bible Church, or ABC, established Botany Life Community Church in 2004. ABC aimed to plant an independent church. Today, Botany Life is known as Summit Church, Botany. ABC is a member of Christian Community Churches of New Zealand. It maintains close ties with Auckland’s tertiary student ministries. ABC also partners with missionaries locally and overseas.
ABC’s history is rich with mergers and expansions. In 2020, ABC merged with Ngaire Avenue Bible Church. NABC was established in 1883 in Parnell. It moved to 3 Ngaire Ave in 1925. This merger combined resources and commitment. The goal was to achieve more together. The shared values and mission enabled existing and new ministries to flourish.
