Once upon a time, there were two schools here. They were Blair Peach First and Nursery School and Blair Peach Middle School. These were predecessor establishments.

The London borough of Ealing has a special connection to Blair Peach. Blair Peach was a New Zealand-born teacher. He died while protesting against the National Front in Southall in 1979.

The Blair Peach school originally opened in Southall in September 1987. But in 1992, the council changed the name to Hayes Bridge Primary. Protests followed. In 1994, a new Labour administration changed the name back to Blair Peach Primary School.

Blair Peach Primary School has a capacity of 420 pupils. Currently, 403 pupils attend. A significant percentage of students are eligible for free school meals. It is about 25.4%. This equates to about 90 pupils.

Ofsted last inspected Blair Peach Primary School on June 20, 2023. The inspection outcome was Good. The quality of education is good. Behaviour and attitudes are outstanding. Personal development is also outstanding. Leadership and management are good. Early years provision is outstanding too.

The school provides a mixed-gender education. It does not have a religious character. Blair Peach Primary School also offers nursery provision. It does not have a sixth form.

The school’s governance is overseen by a dedicated team. Josh Cadman chairs the governors. Tasvir Kaur Kular and Isabella Farrell are governors. Mussa Mussa and Rachel Mary Singh also serve as governors. Mohammad Zeaul Amin and Alan James Coleman contribute too. Sara Chahin and Joshna Shingadia are also governors.
