Bell Farm children start their day at 8.50 am. The school day finishes at 3.20 pm. KS1 and EYFS children finish slightly earlier at 3.15 pm. Children should arrive between 8.35 am and 8.50 am.
Bell Farm boasts beautiful extensive grounds. There are several playgrounds split by use. They have a ball playground. An adventure playground is also present. There is a middle playground. A year 1 playground exists. The youngest children in Reception enjoy all-day access to outdoor play facilities. These include climbing equipment and bikes. Sand and water areas are available. Wendy houses and reading areas are there.
A large playing field supports PE lessons. It hosts outdoor learning. It allows lots of summer fun. The field includes an outdoor classroom with benches under trees. The school also features an outdoor stage area. It sits under cherry blossom trees. Children can play there. The school holds performances there. Occasional talent competitions happen there.
Wraparound care includes a breakfast club that opens at 8 am. Children can receive a nutritious breakfast. Treetops is open to all pupils. It runs from 3.15 pm until 6 pm. It is held in the dining room. Bell Farm staff run it.
Bell Farm is a Forest School. They have a dedicated outdoor area. Trained teachers use it with the children. They teach them outdoor skills and teamwork. Forest Schools encourage children to learn about their environment. They learn how to manage their own risks. Activities include nature trails and artwork. They also enjoy storytelling and construction. Teamwork games feature as well.
The Friends of Bell Farm raise funds. They provide equipment and facilities. They support various projects. They organize discos and non-uniform days. The May Fair and Santa Fun Run are extremely successful.

They also learn about the Shang Dynasty. The Benin Empire is studied. Early Islamic Civilization is another topic. Mini-topics on Ancient Civilizations are covered. They also learn about the Aztecs.
Bell Farm understands local history’s importance. Children learn about Magna Carta. It was signed in Runnymede. The children visit Hampton Court Palace. They study it as an artifact. Year 6 children learn about WWII.
