The official opening ceremony took place on April 29, 1982, graced by the presence of Lee Chiaw Meng, Member of Parliament for Tanah Merah SMC. Bedok South Secondary School underwent a significant transformation in 2003 when it moved to its current location at 1 Jalan Langgar Bedok. The new campus, a modern marvel, was officially inaugurated on February 21, 2004, by Abdullah Tarmugi, Member of Parliament for East Coast GRC. A new chapter began, full of promise and opportunity. A state-of-the-art sports hall was added in 2009, further enhancing the school’s facilities.
