Journey with me to La Plata, Argentina. Here lies Barrio Las Quintas, a neighborhood southwest of the city center. Barrio Las Quintas is one of La Plata’s oldest neighborhoods. It sits just 5 km from the heart of the city. In 2001, Barrio Las Quintas held a population of 8,003 residents. Interestingly, this area is also home to a community of the Qom, an indigenous group native to Argentina. This blend of established history and vibrant culture gives Barrio Las Quintas a unique character. It offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of life in La Plata, from its earliest days to its present.
