The building was a response to a move by the Philippine Stock Exchange. The stock exchange moved from Makati to Ortigas Center. Ayala Land hoped the exchange would reconsider its decision. While they didn’t entirely succeed the exchange now has two trading floors. One in Makati and one in Ortigas Center.
Ayala Tower One has more than just offices. It’s a city within a city. There’s a chapel a fitness center and a food court. Convenience is key here. The building even has its own 15 elevators. These help transport people to different levels smoothly and efficiently. It was once home to the Ayala Corporation. The corporation moved its headquarters to Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2 in 2021.
