Awash Rock

Off the northeastern tip of New Zealand’s Cape Koamaru, Awash Rock lurks. This isn’t your typical island getaway. Even though it sits just outside the main shipping lanes, Awash Rock demands respect. Its presence is a constant reminder of the raw, untamed power of the ocean.
