Born on May 17 1913 in Paris Raymond Croland’s life intersected with Avenue Raymond Poincar. This avenue isn’t named after him. It’s named after Raymond Poincar a former president of France. He co-founded the Vélites-Thermopyles network. This network gathered intelligence vital to the Allied war effort.
