This disease is incurable. It has devastated plane tree populations across France. The new trees are Platanus platanor ‘Vallis Clausa’. They are grown near Avignon. Each tree even has a microchip inside its trunk. This ensures authenticity. The avenue’s rebirth is a symbol of hope. It’s a reminder that even after loss beauty can return.
