Tucked away in the 16th arrondissement, Avenue Boudon whispers tales of Paris. Avenue Boudon isn’t just a street. It’s a slice of Parisian history, named after its creator, Mr. Boudon. Avenue Boudon stretches a modest 128 meters in length and 15 meters in width. It begins at 43, Rue Jean-de-La-Fontaine and ends at 12, Rue George-Sand. Imagine strolling down Avenue Boudon in 1862. Newspaper clippings mention a certain Louis-Antoine Anatole Boudon, director of the maritime insurance company Le Triton, residing at number 7 Avenue Boudon. The avenue has seen changes over time. In 1932, it was classified, aligned, and leveled. A section that once curved towards Rue La Fontaine was later absorbed into Rue George-Sand. Today, if you visit Avenue Boudon, you can easily access it via the metro. Take line 10 to Église d’Auteuil station. Several bus lines also serve the area, including lines 22, 52, 62, and 72. The closest bus stop is Perrichont, just a minute’s walk away. Avenue Boudon, a quiet street with a story to tell.
