Founded on June 8 1936 Asociacion Social y Deportiva Justo Jose de Urquiza stands proudly before us. A testament to community spirit and athletic passion. This club isn’t just a football team. It’s a vibrant heart beating in the Tres de Febrero neighborhood of Buenos Aires.

From its humble beginnings as a merger of three clubs Club Social Club Atletico Union and Club Atletico Caseros. The club’s name honors a significant figure in Argentinan history Justo Jose de Urquiza. The original pitch was that of Club Atletico Union built in 1923. It was located in Caseros a place now integral to the club’s identity.

The club’s journey wasn’t always smooth. The 1980s brought a setback. The military dictatorship forced the club from its field. But the resilience of the community shone through. In 1987 the municipality of Tres de Febrero granted six hectares of land in Barrio Libertador. There the club built its current impressive sporting complex. The new stadium opened in 1993 a significant milestone in the club’s history.

But the story is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s about victories and defeats about the unwavering spirit of the fans. The team has faced many challenges. It has experienced both thrilling ascents and tough descents through the different divisions of Argentinan football. Their first major title came in 1994-95 winning the Primera D championship a moment etched in the club’s history. A truly special moment was the 2018 promotion to Primera B Metropolitana. A culmination of hard work and dedication. The team fought its way to victory against Argentino de Quilmes. A penalty shootout decided this hard-fought match.
