Why is it, do you think, that parks have such a magnetic pull on us? Is it the fresh air? Or perhaps the sight of sunlight filtering through leaves? Whatever the reason, here at Arnum Park, that pull is undeniable. Arnum Park is nestled in the heart of Morton Grove. It’s a modest space, only 0.26 acres, but don’t let its size fool you. This park is a little pocket of peace, a place where the everyday fades away and leaves only the sound of laughter and the gentle rustling of leaves. The playground here is a hive of activity, filled with the joyful squeals of children. Imagine the joy on their faces as they zoom down the slides or soar high on the swings! Arnum Park may not boast grand monuments or sprawling landscapes, but it holds a different kind of magic. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the greatest joys are found in the simplest things: the warmth of the sun, the company of loved ones, and the timeless pleasure of a swing set under a bright blue sky.
