Beyond its physical structure, the Ark of Safety Holiness Church embodies a powerful message of faith and community. The Ark of Safety Holiness Church is more than just a building. It is a place where the essence of Christ’s love is keenly felt. It is vividly demonstrated and faithfully replicated. The church experience is tangibly experienced by all who enter.
Sharing Jesus is a top priority here. As representatives of God’s Kingdom, members believe it’s their duty to make others aware of Christ. They accomplish this through dedication to spreading the gospel. After sharing Jesus, teaching becomes the next critical step for the Ark of Safety Holiness Church. Without sharing, we cannot teach says Apostle Herman L. Murray, Jr. As ambassadors of God’s Kingdom, it’s their responsibility to guide others in living like Him through discipleship. This ensures the message of Christ is lived out.
Investing in the lives of others is a core mission. The Ark of Safety Holiness Church holds a strong conviction that God has entrusted them with this responsibility. Members are dedicated to striving for excellence in fulfilling this purpose. The goal is to produce individuals who emulate Jesus Christ. This occurs through sharing, teaching, and investment. As these individuals grow, they will be inspired to share, teach, and invest in others. It is a continuous cycle until Jesus’ return.

The Ark of Safety Holiness Church believes in several key tenets. They believe in the verbal inspiration of the Bible. The church recognizes one God eternally existing in three persons. These persons are the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. They believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father. He was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor.
All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. Repentance is commanded by God for all. It is necessary for forgiveness of sins. Justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. Sanctification follows the new birth through faith in Christ’s blood, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. Holiness is God’s standard of living for His people.
The church believes in the baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart. Speaking with other tongues is evidence of this baptism. They practice water baptism by immersion. All who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement. The Ark of Safety Holiness Church observes the Lord’s Supper and the washing of the Saints’ feet.
The church anticipates the premillennial second coming of Jesus. He will resurrect the righteous dead and catch away the living Saints. Then He will reign on earth for a thousand years. The church believes in the bodily resurrection. Eternal life awaits the righteous and eternal punishment awaits the wicked. Members dress in modest apparel.
The Ark of Safety Holiness Church stands as a beacon. It is a beacon of faith. It’s a testament to community. It’s a place where love is not just spoken but lived.
