Where does faith take root and community blossoms? Here at Apostolic Life Center. This church started its journey in a humble South Austin apartment.
Early in 2001, the Ratka family felt a divine calling. God wanted them to start a new church in Austin. Pastor John Ratka and his wife Gay answered that call.
Their first service as Apostolic Life Center took place in a small living room. It was located in the SaddleCreek Apartments on Old Manchaca Road. This cozy space served as ALC’s home for a year. The congregation quickly outgrew the apartment.
God continued to bless Apostolic Life Center. By 2004, the church needed more space. It moved to its current location at 12027 Bethel Church Road in Manchaca.
