They disappear around September. Apollo Park in Alsip, located at 12521 S. Kostner Avenue, offers quite a range of activities. There are walking and biking paths, playgrounds, tennis courts, and even a picnic area. Interestingly, the park is also home to the Apollo Recreation Center. This center has even more to offer. Inside, you’ll find basketball courts, a fitness center, and volleyball courts. The recreation center and Apollo Park share some amenities. Both have tennis courts and playgrounds.
