It was born from a legacy dating back to the 17th century, to the old community of master apothecaries. However, its current chapter began in 1876. Renowned architect Charles Laisné envisioned a grand design for the school, a blend of brick and stone that echoed the classical French style. Completed in 1882, the Ancienne Faculté de Pharmacie, with its distinctive H-shaped main building, stood as a beacon of knowledge. Inside, the grand hall became a canvas for artistry, adorned with seventeen exquisite panels by Albert Besnard. The Ancienne Faculté de Pharmacie wasn’t just a place of lectures and research.
