Have you heard of a mosque born from familial devotion? Here we stand before the Ahmet Çavuşoğlu Cami. It is a testament to faith and family ties.

Let me tell you the story of the Ahmet Çavuşoğlu Cami. This mosque is not just a place of worship. It represents a son’s love for his father.

Cesim Çavuşoğlu and Erol Çavuşoğlu built this beautiful mosque. They dedicated it to their father, Hacı Abdulbaki Çavuşoğlu. Efor İnşaat Taahhüt A.Ş owned by them undertook this noble task. The “Hacı Abdülbaki Çavuşoğlu Camii” opened its doors for worship.

The opening ceremony was a grand affair. Avcılar Kaymakamı Kemal İnan graced the event. Cesim Çavuşoğlu and Erol Çavuşoğlu represented their family. EÜAŞ General Manager Dr. İzzet Alagöz attended as well. İstanbul Doğalgaz İşletme Müdürü Fatih Ankaralı was also present. Avcılar Müftüsü Bekir Derin and other distinguished guests joined the celebration.

During the program, the Müftülük presented a plaque. EÜAŞ General Manager Dr. İzzet Alagöz delivered a speech. Avcılar Müftüsü Bekir Derin also shared his thoughts. He expressed his joy at the mosque’s opening. He thanked everyone who contributed to its construction.

Avcılar Müftüsü Bekir Derin also made a request. He asked for help to transform the adjacent construction site. He envisioned a 4-6 year old Quran course and a mosque lodge. He hoped for the general manager’s support in realizing this vision.

After Bekir Derin’s prayer, the mosque officially opened. Attendees enjoyed etli pilav and ayran after the Friday prayer. The Ahmet Çavuşoğlu Cami covers an area of 2038 m2. It can accommodate 550 worshippers at once.

The Ahmet Çavuşoğlu Cami stands in Atikali Mh within the Fatih district. Its latitude is 41.025948 and its longitude is 28.943077. The Ahmet Çavuşoğlu Cami’s postcode is 34087. Its altitude reaches 73 meters.
