Tucked away in Duncanville, Texas, the Agape Missionary Baptist Church has a story to tell. It all began in November 1991, not here, but at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Dallas. A small group of ten faithful individuals, led by Pastor Benton, formed Agape Missionary Baptist Church. Their mission was simple yet profound: to learn from Christ and live as Christians. Their first home was a modest space at 1447 Acton in Duncanville. But God had bigger plans. In June 1992, Agape Missionary Baptist Church moved to its current location. Over the years, Agape Missionary Baptist Church has blossomed. Three members answered the call to ministry, and two ministers joined the staff. Agape Missionary Baptist Church continued to grow, establishing the Agape Fellowship Center. The church’s original purpose remains strong: to learn from Christ and live Christian lives.
