In Morón it is called El Palomar. In Tres de Febrero it is called Ciudad Jardín Lomas del Palomar. A la ciudad de El Palomar was established in 1910. It started with a station on the Buenos Aires and Pacific Railway. Developer Publio Massini sold the first lots that year. Juan Manuel Giuffra established the El Palomar Development Council. They brought electric lighting to the area.

Though initially without a station El Palomar later gained one near the site of the Battle of Caseros.
The first land auction took place in 1910. This brought families like the Giuffras and Kellys to A la ciudad de El Palomar. Just a year later the first Development Society was formed. It was led by Juan Manuel Giuffra. They brought public lighting to the area.
By 1912 A la ciudad de El Palomar had various businesses. These included stores dairies bakeries and restaurants. The National Military College was established in 1937. Its location was chosen for its proximity to the capital.
Ciudad Jardín Lomas del Palomar is next to A la ciudad de El Palomar. It was founded in 1944. The idea was to create a garden city. It would balance urban life with green spaces.
