Benny Abante served from 2004 to 2010. Sandy Ocampo returned from 2010 to 2019. Benny Abante again took office in 2019 and is the current representative.

In the 2022 elections Benny Abante secured a significant victory. He garnered 95431 votes which accounted for 79.37% of the total. His closest competitor Romualdo Billanes received 22221 votes. Antonio Sityar II an independent candidate secured 2582 votes.

Looking back to 2019 Benny Abante also won with 49795 votes. Patricia Yvette Ocampo secured 33731 votes. Cassy Sison received 24239 votes. The 6th District of Manila has a population of 300186 as of 2020. The electorate consists of 170533 registered voters in 2022. The district covers an area of 7.79 square kilometers.
