Established in 1916 Seinan Jo Gakuin Junior and Senior High School stands proudly in Fukuoka. It wasn’t always here. Its story begins much earlier with the arrival of three American Methodist missionaries. These pioneers C K Dozier G W Borden and J H Lowe laid the groundwork. They established the Fukuoka Baptist Mission School in 1907. This was a significant step. The school moved several times. Finally in 1918 it settled on a spacious 19800m2 plot of land in Nishi-Shin district.
