This structure is crowned by the Moon View Pavilion, the tallest in Zhujiajiao. Another landmark is the 70-meter-long Fangsheng Bridge. Built in the 17th century, it stands as a symbol of mercy and compassion. “Fangsheng” means “releasing animals.” Locals believe that this act brings good fortune. The bridge’s arch and the surrounding views have earned it the nickname “Rainbow of Zhujiajiao.” Zhujiajiao also has a Culture and Art Museum. This museum showcases the town’s history and culture through paintings and statues. It’s a great place to start your visit, offering a glimpse into Zhujiajiao’s past. For a unique experience, visit the old post office. Built in 1903, it holds a collection of ancient stamps, envelopes, and postcards. Even the City God Temple in Zhujiajiao is unique. Unlike traditional temples dedicated to local heroes, this one resembles a garden. It’s a place where visitors can relax and admire the rockery, pool, and pavilions.
