\u6708\u6d66\u9547 sits in the northern part of Baoshan District. It is bordered by the Yangtze River to the east. To the north is Luojing. To the south is Yanghang. To the west is Luodian. The town’s location has always been important.
Let us walk through time in \u6708\u6d66\u9547. Back in 1910, there were \u6708\u6d66 and Shengqiao villages. By 1929, they fell under Baoshan County’s Fifth District. A reorganization in 1934 created \u6708\u6d66 town. It also created ten other villages from the original four towns and twenty villages.
The area changed hands during the war. In 1938, it split into \u6708\u6d66 and Shengqiao towns. By 1939, it became part of the First and Fifth districts. A redrawing of town and village lines in 1940 led to the creation of \u6708\u6d66 town again.
